Acne on Greene Street

Last week Acne opened their second store in New York drawing a crowd which We are the market refers to as "grunge-goes-high fashion". It's located in Soho and looks pretty spectacular. Mr Acne himself Jonny Johansson claims:
"When I am in New York, I really feel that historical references are very visible, so when designing the new store at 33 Greene Street, I wanted to take a very Swedish slant on history and environment. I was inspired by the Gustavian period of Swedish design, its cleanness and purity, and I wanted to re-interpret that in a modern way."
