Michael Chabon on Power Pop

I've been reading a lot of Michael Chabon lately. Having previously only read his "Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" from 2000 I've recently read his later work "Yiddish Policemen's Union" and "Gentlemen of the Road", both published in 2007. The other day I started on his debut from the late 80s "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh" which also seems very promising.

Reading about the Pulitzer prize awarded author I chanced upon an article he wrote about power pop for McSweeney's number 33.

And I thought since we've included among others Big Star (on the picture below), who are mentioned in the article, on our Spotify-playlists, I should recommend the article to you guys.

The article titled "Tragic Magic".

Michael Chabon's new novel "Telegraph Avenue" will be published 9/11 this year.
